How to Remove Steering Wheel and Airbag - B6 Audi A4 2002-2005 (Wolf Auto Parts)     More info

Today we're going to show you how to remove the steering wheel and airbag of your vehicle. Follow this step by step guide to remove your airbag and then the steering wheel.

AIRBAG

Step 1: Place key in ignition and unlock your steering wheel

Step 2: Turn it 90 degrees to the right

Step 3: Loosen screw, spin the wheel and do the screw on the other side

*Make sure your battery is disconnected

Step 4: Pull front of steering wheel (airbag section) forward.

Step 5: Look for the clip towards the back of the steering wheel. Push down and slide it out.

Step 6: Get underneath clip and pop up the center piece to unlock it, so that the whole thing can then be popped out.

STEERING WHEEL

Step 1: Remove center bolt

*Make a few marks on the wheel if you plan on putting it back on so that you remember what direction to place it back on

Step 2: Pull steering wheel forward
