Audi a5 hvac blower removal     More info

Removal of glove box and hvac blower. If your blower no longer works and a fault shows blower malfunction terminal short to ground but you get voltage at the blower harness side, this may indicate a shortage on the actual motor.

You may want to try servicing it by cleaning the motor with electrical cleaner because the dust from the brushes may accumulate to a point to cause an actual short.

Re apply grease to journal bearings after completed.
