During the 2013 NAIAS Audi presented the Audi RS7 . Audi fitted the 4.0TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine from the B7 RS6 into the A7. The result is a power output of 412 kilowatts (560 PS; 553 bhp) and a maximum torque of 700 newton metres (516 lbf·ft). The Audi RS7 distinguishes itself from the other Audi A7 models with features such as an aggressive looking front bumper and a honeycomb structure grille), aluminium add-on parts and two large oval exhaust tips.
The RS7 can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) in 3.9 seconds and is limited to 250 kilometres per hour (155.3 mph). This maximum speed can be raised to 280 kilometres per hour (174.0 mph) or 305 kilometres per hour (189.5 mph) with the optional Dynamic Package and Dynamic Package Plus respectively. Audi claims a fuel efficiency of 9.8 litres per 100 kilometres (24 mpg-US) thanks to a cylinder on demand system and a start-stop system. The 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox with a long eighth gear helps to decrease the fuel consumption.
