You are watching tape # 3 of 4 in a series of videos of our 2009 12 Hours of Sebring Experience. This video starts where tape #2 left off. The opening scene in this #3 video is of our arrival at the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring, after a very eventful and challenging trek from Sarasota. After a full day of setting up Camp La Bomba in Turn 11, we feasted on the delicious New England Style Clam Bake that Bo Ives prepared for the gang. It was as good as it looked! After the Clam bake dinner Wed. night we loaded up La Bomba and took our traditional cruise through the pits to welcome the teams to the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring. The following day, Thurs., was spent setting up "Gotham City" and the large projection screen on the backside of Casey's bus, along with watching all of Thurs. practice sessions and qualifying. We attracted several volunteer dancers to our "Gotham-A-Go-Go" cage, and one of them is captured here. David Smithman, "Chicken Man" kept the group well fed, and we love him for that! Our longtime friends in Turn 10 are always very gracious and accomodating to us, and Bill Foster and I watched the start of the race from their scaffolding. John and Ray, Louie and Baxter, the 'Amazing' Randy and 'Brilliant' Norm Koury are just a few of the notables from the Turn 10 gang. At the 6:55 mark in the video, we loaded the entire herd of Sebring Cows onto the float, along with two Gorillas and the 'Stig' from the Turn 10 Camp, for a couple of laps of the Green Park and North ...
