The Audi RS3 Sportback. It's a whole lot of fun putting this car to the test on a snow covered track. The differences to the "normal" A3 Sportback are striking: A roof spoiler and a large rear diffuser with a double exhaust. At the front there's a sporty radiator with large air-intakes. The silver exterior mirrors are also typical of the RS models. The honeycomb structure of the grill adds to the sporty appearance. The Quattro engine design and numerous electronic aides ensure a smooth and sporty ride across the frozen tracks in Mont Tremblant in Canada. The car reacts to our every move and does exactly what is required of it. Thanks to the all wheel drive the car posts lap times that we could only dream of in front and rear wheel drive cars. Audi has different all wheel drive concepts for different models. The interior of the RS3 has alcantara valance and lots of leather. The RS3 will hit the showrooms at the end of March. The starting price will be at least 49900 Euros. Not to be sneezed at. For those with a tighter budget the 118 kilowatt, 1.8 litre TFSI-A3 all wheel drive Quattro is available starting at 27600 Euros. It doesn't match the race-car like drive of it's big brother but it still delivers a steady driving experience even on snow and ice.
