How to video on replacing the battery in the B8 chassis remote. Prestige package cars with the push button remote may find this more useful as those remotes are transmitting a signal while the car is in operation and that wears down the battery much faster than the standard premium package remote. Despite what some sales people may say the battery does NOT charge while in the dash. Its a non-rechargable battery, the remote does not transmit while its inserted into the dash however. Easy battery replacement no tools required. Battery is a standard CR2032.
