The first 20km on small snowed up country roads, proceeding at a crawl in Lo-Ratio ; Climbing Hills in an almost constant four wheel spin to cut through the snow to gain grip, preparing for each decent by dropping back to walking pace and Never... Never touching the brakes. The down hill sections where taken at a slow walking pace in 2nd or 3rd gear of Lo-Ratio, (first gear's engine braking was fierce enough to make the wheels lose traction) with no gear changes and definitely no brakes.
