Vive la France! NEXT's latest mini-movie is its most atmospheric to date. Absorbing this season's unmistakable fashion feeling for Parisian chic, the narrative moves to the boulevards, rooftops and salons of the French capital for a movie within the movie. On the banks of the Seine, and in the shadow of the Tour Eiffel, NEXT's favourite supermodels -- Brazilian bombshell EMANUELA DE PAULA, blonde all-American babe AMY HIXSON -- are filmed by English heart-throb NATHAN BOGLE. They're joined in the action by cool French dude DIDIER N'GONZINZONGA and the impossibly handsome Spanish actor JON KORTAJARENA -- plus a bunch of great-looking kids. All the posing and partying is juxtaposed with a seminal anthem by The Specials. The two-tone influence of this legendary eighties SKA band also surfaces in memorable arial shots set against black and white checkerboard paving or the bold stripes of a pedestrian crossing. The music's compelling. The atmosphere's electric. And the clothes? Utterly gorgeous. Amy and Emanuela are both seen in their pick of NEXT's outstanding collection for autumn-winter 2010. Look out for the super-chic camel coat, the must-have aviator jacket, and a scene-stealing feather-print maxi dress. Every woman will love the heart-motif sweater worn by Emanuela in the closing sunset shot. This is the second NEXT television commercial to be directed by every fashion editor's photographer of choice, BEN WATTS.
